Why after two days back at work does your vacation seem like it happened three months ago? Just a vague memory, “what did I do on vacation?”

Not that I expected it too, but nothing has changed at work. Oh wait, while I was off, they put the new heating and AC units in. Yeah, AC just in time for winter. Then to top it off today they actually had the AC on. It’s 66 degrees out today. They set the AC to 70. I need to either change my desk or do some night maneuvers and block off the vent over it. I’m sitting there and suddenly feel a cold breeze. I almost turned my heater on!

Picking up the new vehicle tomorrow. (Still just leasing, just in case I don’t like it after driving it for a bit.) Getting a Mavrick this time. Really didn’t like the Bronco. So many things that were wrong with it. That’s what happens something you really want turns out to be not what you expected. On ward and upward.

The Awakening, The Becoming and The Choice.

I’m reading the awakening right now. Almost finished with it. It’s a real world, multi dimension world combination. Our heroine lives in the here and now world but has ties to the Fey world in Ireland. So far, it’s been pretty good. She has a way with description that makes you feel like you are really there.

Breen is a teacher, unhappy in her job. Mother is an overbearing bitch. Father left when she was young and never came back. She was dumped by her boyfriend. Lives with her best friend Marco. While taking care of her mother's place she discovers papers that say she has an investment account worth over 4 million dollars. (bad mom). Any way she and her bestie head for Ireland as that’s where her father was from, and life changes come fast and furious……….. Really good tale so far.
