Well another weekend done and gone. I really think that weekends should be 3 days long. In the perfect world they would be 4 but that’s just crazy talk. Who wouldn’t want to work 3 days and have 4 off. If you didn’t care what days you worked you could pick any 3 to work. Lets see would I pick Tue, Wed, Thurs or would I do Mon, Tue, Wed????? Hey I’d be happy with a 40 hour 4 day work week. To bad this doesn’t mesh with my job. My boss said that if he could make it work would could do it, but……
Took the mower to the mower Doc. Should have seen me trying to get it into the back of the truck. Well actually getting it in was the easy part, getting it to fit not so much fun. Dam bed was about 1 inch to short and the tailgate wouldn’t close. So strapped it down then bungie corded the tailgate up. Good thing that I didn’t have very far to drive. My eyes were glued to the rearview mirror. I knew the mower wasn’t going to move but the tailgate was bouncing around a bit and I didn’t want to dent the tailgate. Made it safe and sound but told them that I wanted them to bring it back to the house. So got the call and it’s already to come home. They will bring it back tomorrow and I’m out $156.00 bucks. Could have been worse. Will find out this afternoon what they did, it wouldn’t start so I’m guessing it needed a new battery.
Did some raking. I really wish the wind would let up some. Between me and G. we have re~raked half the lawn due to twigs and pine cones. Well we raked the moss. I really need to get out there and spray the crap out of it. There are places where we don’t even have any grass any more. Between the rocks and the roots it’s like a slalom course. It would probably cost me $10,000 to have someone come and fix everything wrong with it. Sigh…..maybe someday if my Options trading pays off.
And on that note still can’t catch a break there. Was up almost 3,000 in Jan and now I’m only in the green by a little over 500. The AAPL play really killed me. First time that I went for one of the more expensive trades and I didn’t get out soon enough and lost the whole thing. I’m still in the green and have my initial investment money but I would really like add to it. Patience is a virtue and it’s not one that I’m acquainted with!
Blew my calories this weekend. Now I’m back on the straight and narrow to try to recoup. My study with Noom is getting to the end. I can still use the app to keep track of everything but I don’t believe that I get the coach help any more. Which is OK. There may not be any more lessons either. I’ve learned a lot of stuff but I’m having a hard time implementing it all. Sticking to my guns isn’t as easy as it used to be. It’s not really to hard to talk my self into buying a box of donuts! or a bottle of wine. or to skip my exercise. My rider lets the elephant take over way to much.
So found out today that A is leaving. Not surprised. She really didn’t want to have to start coming back and working in the office. J said that she got a job that was going to let her work from home. No loss as far as I’m concerned. She was a bitch. She was also lazy and would pass of what she could of her work. They will be scrambling fill her spot but she wasn’t very good at it so….. Plus I know she is the one that turned me in for “inappropriate” use of the internet, like she was miss Angel. She was always on her phone shopping or texting her family and friend, but she was always to busy to do the work she fobbed off on other people. Like I said I ain’t going to miss her.
Slow here today. Hence the afternoon writing.
