Through My Lens
05.21.23 Spring Has Sprung Lilacs were my mother’s favorite flower. So much so that my dad planted a row of them at the border of the back lawn. I remember him planting them, but I couldn’t tell you how long ago, or how old I was. They are now a solid wall. It will be a year since she passed on the 31st. The house is now in the process of being sold. I hope the new owners will appreciate the lilacs my dad cultivated for my mom to enjoy.
Thing That Make You Hmm ~ 3
On my way down street (nobody says this any more, it’s a generational thing. It’s like going to town.) When I see a UPS truck pulled over on the other side of the road. Where there are no house for him to deliver to. He had his 4 ways on. As I get closer I see that the driver isn’t in the driver’s set. He’s standing up in what would be the passenger seat area. The door on that side is open. As I pass by he is facing out. His arms are down and his hand look like the are in front of him
The news the other night was talking about how Netflix was going to be stop mailing out DVD movies. The were talking with some woman that has been doing it for years, even when they went to streaming them. She just likes getting them in the mail. Any way the fun fact is……… The first movie they ever sent out in the mail was Beetlejuice! My sister and I looked at each other and laughed! Why you ask…..
Thing that Make Me go Hum ~1
So in the bathrooms at work are two roll toilet paper dispensers. When maintenance fills them most of the time when there is still a little toilet paper left on the roll. (wouldn’t want to run out, now would we), They leave the roll on top of the dispenser. Hey at one time toilet paper was a hot commodity (think Covid). Don’t want to waist it. The other day when I went in there was an empty cardboard roll on top of the dispenser. I cocked my head at it and thought seriously. You have the worthwhile to finish up the roll, but you can’t throw out the empty container????
